Circolo italiano is excited to announce the new movie line up for Cinema Italiano Contemporaneo 2017! For this Fall, we have chosen movies which will make you laugh and will keep you entertained, while providing some interesting considerations on life and human nature.
We will open on September 23rd with a movie that has captivated wide audiences in Italy, Perfetti sconosciuti (Perfect Strangers), in which a group of friends come together for dinner in perfect harmony, to leave a few hours later forever changed (need to come to see why). The following week, on September 30th, we present Scusate se esisto (Sorry If I exist), a story of a young woman determined to shake things up in her new traditional working environment. La pazza gioia (Like Crazy) concludes our series on October 8th, bringing a story of friendship between two women, which critics have named the “Italian version of Thelma and Louise.”
