It is with great pleasure that we announce the 2026 movie line-up of Cinema Italiano Classico.
This year we will present two wonderful classic movies starring a group of fabulous Italian actors. They will make you laugh and cry; but more than anything else, they will entertain and delight you.
As in the past, each movie will be presented by Anna Brusutti, our Artistic Director. And here are the two movies:
Saturday, March 21– Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow
Italy, 1963 Directed by Vittorio De Sica, Comedy/Drama
Starring: Sophia Loren, Marcello Mastroianni, Aldo Giuffre’, Pasquale Cennamo, Tina Pica, Armando Trovajoli, Carlo Croccolo; Music by Armando Trovajoli;
A trilogy of stories set in three cities in Italy, Naples, Milan and Rome with Sophia Loren and Marcello Mastroianni staring in each romantic vignette. They have wonderful chemistry in these three hilarious sexual escapades that helped make them the two most popular Italian performers of 20th century cinema.

Saturday, March 28th – Le Amiche
It is a 1955 Italian romance/drama film directed by Michelangelo Antonioni and starring Eleonora Rossi Drago, Gabriele Ferzetti, Franco Fabrizi and Valentina Cortese.
A young woman returns to her hometown of Turin to set up a new fashion salon and gets involved with a troubled woman and her three wealthy friends. The film portrays a group of five upper-class women in Turin and their various relationships with men.
