Ciao, Amici!

Is there a food that is more fun than pizza?  Especially when it is home-made in front of your eyes and baked in a true Italian pizza oven? And guess what? You can choose the toppings you prefer.

Aside from piping-hot pizzas, you will be served a variety of yummy foods, salad and dolci/desserts (including gelato), together with  a selection of drinks (wines, beer and soft drinks) to make your enjoyment complete.

What about the guest speaker?  She is a local Italian-American woman  — Analiza Zungri, by name — who completed her bachelor’s degree at Rome’s John Cabot University in Communications & Media, and is currently studying for her Masters in Communication Management at USC. She will speak to us about her Italian experiences and “University Life in Rome for a Young Santa Barbaran.”  Her talk is particularly relevant to a not-for-profit like ours whose mission involves raising funds for scholarships at both U.S. and Italian colleges/universities.

The venue of the party will be a friendly garden setting in which to sip, eat, chat, laugh and watch your pizza being prepared.  And all before autumn turns too chilly.
