Cari Amici - Dear Friends, it will be an exciting second half of 2023 for us at ICHF!  To our traditional line-up of events, this year we have added a new and exciting event that we are sure you will find interesting.  Here they are: FERRAGOSTO. As in the past few years, we will celebrate the summer with an ancient holiday, Ferragosto (which the Romans called  Feriae Augusti to honor their Emperor) with our traditional summer picnic in the beautiful Lower Manning Park in Montecito. Conforming with our normal Holiday traditions, it is with great pleasure that the Board of ICHF announces Il Pranzo di Natale, a Xmas luncheon at La Cumbre Country Club.

As in the past, our good friends and La Cumbre CC’s members, Fred and Diane Sidon, booked our group — this time for a festive meal with Italian flavor.  Additionally,  there is also a brand-new way to buy wine, beer and soft drinks from the Club's bar which will be detailed below.

More updates for the Venetian Women of the 16th Century.

The first concerns the menu of the luncheon that will be served before the lecture.  Yesterday I was told that the LCCC’s chef is planning to serve fish with risotto as the entrée, followed by panna cotta for dessert. According to my source, they are considering either halibut or sea bass.  If any of you does not like fish of any type, even the super yummy ones, please let me know.
